OpenStack

Hugo is an application written in Golang and compiles into a single binary.
The application uses a specific structure that creates html files from markdown content using a specific theme template.
IBM AIX
IBM AIX is a UNIX distribution made by IBM for IBM POWER systems.
AIX has been around for a long time and has specific advantages over other UNIX systems.
Nowadays AIX is primary used as an application server or database server.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or RHEL, is the official supported Enterprise Distribution of Red Hat.
Red Hat creates an open source Enterprise worthy Linux distribution that is commenly one of the best know enterprise linux distribution.
RHEL is an open source, however the binary is not free, and requires an entitlement.
VanTosh does not sell entitlements, however we can assist in obtaining entitlements.

CentOS Linux Distribution
CentOS is the rebuild of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, which targets users that want RHEL features without RHEL support.
It tries to by binary compatible and is rebuild from the original RHEL sources.
CentOS stand for Community ENTerprise Operating System.
CentOS started out as a hobby project and currently has evolved to one of the most popular production worthy Linux distributions.
CentOS is a community distribution, which means it has no official support system, for tha you can opt for RHEL.
VanTosh has been a long time user of CentOS and knows the community.
We have a lot of experience in using CentOS and provide support for our CentOS installation.
MongoDB

MongoDB is a NoSQL database, that uses a JSON like schemas and in contrast with relational SQL does not have a predefined data schema.
Data is modeled around object that can easily be queried ad-hoc. MongoDB provides real time aggregation and provides powerful ways to analayze data. MongoDB is a distributed database by design and can be setup for high availability in both vertical scaling and horizontal scaling. MongoDB can be combined with file system access to be used as a real document store.
Redis
Redis is an open-source in-memory key-value database.
The database implementing a distributed, in-memory key-value store with optional durability.
Redis supports different kinds of abstract data structures, such as strings, lists, maps, sets, sorted sets, hyperloglogs, bitmaps and spatial indexes.

Nextcloud is an online tool for managing and sharing files in a more cloud centric way.
Nextcloud gives you access to all your files wherever you are.
It differs from traditional file sharing in, that it has a web interface, allows easy management, and can interact with third parties very easily.
Nextcloud runs on a server, protecting your data and giving you access from your desktop or mobile devices.
Through Nextcloud you also access, sync and share your existing data.
SELinux
SELinux, Security-Enhanced Linux, is a feature that provides that provides Manditory Access Control (MAC) in Linux. This mechanism provides access control through security policies enforced by the Linux Security Modules (LSM), which runs as a Linux kernel module. SELinux is not a Linux distribution, but rather a set of kernel modifications and user-space tools that can be added to various Linux distributions It creates compartments for each process, socket, file and user to allow seperation and isolation to each compartment.
Icinga2
Icinga was origanilly a fork of Nagios in 2009, at the time the most used open source monitoring tool.
In 2012 the Icinga team decided to rebuild Icinga as Icinga2 with a complete new design to be better in line with the latest development of infrastructure as code, or even monitoring as code.
Icinga2 is now the leading open source monitoring tool that allows you to monitor, measure your IT infrastructure using object based, rule driven, dynamic configuration.
Icinga2 now included a master, proxy and client setup, with dynamic, object and rule based monitoring using secure TLS connection.
Icinga2 connects to other tools, applications to allow metric integration, dashboarding and much more.
Icinga2 does allow the reuse of Nagios plugins and new improved Icinga plugins to monitor endpoints.
